Puerto Morelos Location information

Puerto Morelos is the town directly south of Cancun. It is a small town which until recently only offered small hotels. There is a small grocery store and a couple of excellent restaurants. Recently the area has attracted developers and there are some very nice new hotels. Puerto Morelos is close enough to Cancun to allow people looking for a little more activity to go into Cancun for shopping, dinner and nightlife. It is also an excellent place to use as a base for exploring both Cancun and the coast between Cancun and Tulum.
